Born in Kyoto, Japan.
I graduated from Kyoto Seika University with a degree in Visual Communication.
I studied at the University of Michigan as an exchange student,
where I focused on photography and lithography.
I see design as a gift.
It begins with gathering and organizing information, imagining the person who will receive it, planning the moment it is presented, and considering the joy and usability that follow. At the heart of this process is always the desire to delight and surprise others. Along with that,
I am constantly mindful of how long the effect will last and how best to shape that experience over time.
